Latitude 37’s Beaumaris display is the embodiment of quintessential Bayside living. This bespoke, custom home, designed and built by our talented, multi award winning team, offers a relaxed and luxurious lifestyle.
The Beaumaris display combines a characteristic flat-roof profile typical of the Bayside area with a natural stone and timber clad façade, expansive floor to ceiling windows and extensive, bespoke joinery to achieve a luxurious, relaxed family environment. Solar aspect and privacy are the top priorities for choice of orientation. The home stretches along the east-west axis with expansive windows positioned along the northern elevation to minimise outlook to surrounding dwellings while maximising light penetration and indoor-outdoor connection.
The Beaumaris display holds three current awards from the Housing Industry Association including Best Kitchen in a Display Home, Best Bathroom in a Display Home and Victorian Bathroom of the year, HIA commended the kitchen’s sleek handle free joinery, quality Miele appliances and a butler’s pantry connected to the kitchen through steel glazed doors. Ergonomics, flow and lighting also scored highly with the judges .
They also noted that the Master ensuite showcases a considered and layered approach to its fit out and finishes. A skylight above the shower and floor to ceiling windows on the opposite wall provide abundant natural light. Bespoke and expertly finished handless joinery is matched by stylish mirror cabinets above.
Latitude 37’s client centred approach to designing and building bespoke, luxurious, custom homes resulted in the team being awarded 2020 HIA Victorian Professional Medium Builder of the Year and 2021 HIA Australian Professional Medium Builder of the Year.
Opportune planning allows the northern sun in, with living areas overlooking an impressive pool courtyard. A buffer is achieved along the south elevation where the pantry, laundry and bathrooms are situated.
Inclusion of floor-level windows creates feelings of seclusion from the street yet allows sunlight to pour in and afford peeks of lush shrubbery to remind of the garden awaiting beyond. A sense of spatial grandeur is felt upon entry, as bespoke joinery is continued throughout, framing and dividing the interior.
An uninterrupted vantage across the linear form, from doorway through the living area and into the backyard, instils an open airiness that is reinforced by the void of the staircase. Visit our award-winning Beaumaris display this weekend. We’re open both Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
Lime washed oak herringbone floors are a subtle and elegant foundation for the palette, which integrates a measured balance of timber, concrete, steel and glass. Tempering strong rectilinear forms are subtle curves throughout. Seen in the ensuite walls, entrance joinery, above the fireplace and in the circular roof cut-out, curves disrupt and complement while marrying the spaces. Movement across the abode is encouraged by open passage through to the main volume of the home. Flanked by glass, the master suite is granted lighted privacy and outlook by fluted glass panels separating the living area and transparent sliding doors to the pool’s decking. A further three bedrooms are found upstairs, enjoying their own separate living space beyond the landing with a balcony to observe the opposite golf course.
